District 16 Star and Goodwill Award Recipients

District 16 Star Award*

The District 16 Star Award honors those worthy Unit volunteers who work steadfastly at the Unit level to promote bridge and further Unit activities. Selection is made by each Unit Board, and the awards are traditionally presented during the February Lone Star Regional.

* Prior to 2018, this award was known as the Texas Star Award.

Goodwill Award

The Goodwill Award recognizes and honors District 16 players who exhibit a spirit of courtesy, kindness, and tact at the bridge table. These individuals are ambassadors of goodwill to all other players. Recipients should be frequent players in clubs and tournaments within their unit. Presentations are made at the Unit's convenience.
