Ode to Jan

There was a lass from St. Louie
Who yearned for master points
She took lessons from Nancy
But found them too fancy
And went away muttering, "Phooey".

So, she turned to those noble bitches,
So honest, so trustworthy, so true,
But they drank all her honey,
And took all her money,
And even her britches too!

Then on to the tournament table
Where her master points quickly accrued,
With her Jane on her knees,
And Ron's food in the freeze,
She learned that her goal was attainable.

Our Jan is a beautiful lady,
So bubbly, so sparkly, so sweet,
But she trumps all our aces,
Leaves us in our places.
Today she has joined the Elite!
