Unit 201 -
Life Master Party for Kris Cherry
January 14, 2017

Honoree Kris flanked by her parents, daughter, and granddaughter -- four generations of bridge players!

L to R - Dee Payne, Kayme Tidwell, Kris Cherry, Kimberly Tidwell, Joe Payne

Kris began her journey only because of her mom's continued encouragement and bribery!  She credited Nancy Smalley, her instructor, and Donna McFerrin, her regular partner for several years, for keeping her in the game.  She earned gold points partnered with Keith Dobson, Wayne Outlaw, and Martha Oliver.

Kris is considered "the fairest of them all" by the Orange Community Bridge League where she plays, teaches, recruits, and hosts.  She has served as Unit 201 secretary since 2011.

Congratulations, Kris!
