Honoree Billie Carter

Billie began her journey many years ago; however, she said she just couldn't seem to finish high enough in tournaments to earn the coveted gold points. In 2017, Wayne Outlaw agreed to support her in her quest. They attended two Texas tournaments and claimed all but a small amount of the needed points. On the third try, they crossed the line on the first day of the tournament! Billie became a Bronze Life Master concurrently with Life Master, and she is well on her way to the rank of Silver Life Master, currently with a total of 935 masterpoints. Congratulations, Billie!
Host and Hostesses

The Orange Duplicate Bridge League hosted the party. Mike and Carolyn Lemons, Kris Cherry, Ruby Collins, Dee Payne, Kimberlee Tidwell, and Lynn Bettinger decorated the building in festive Christmas style.
Billie's Family

Billie was joined by her husband, Leon; two of her sons, a grandson, and two great grandchildren.
