Honoree Patsy Pierce
Patsy began playing bridge online in about 2002.  When she realized she needed a little "help," she signed up for lessons from Nancy Smalley in Beaumont (almost an hour's drive from Hardin).  She found a bridge family in Beaumont and has played regularly in Beaumont since then and has attended many tournaments in North American, including tournaments in Canada and Hawaii. Patsy is a formidable but pleasant opponent, an understanding partner, a willing mentor, and a loyal friend. Only a small percentage of ACBL players earn the rank of GOLD Life Master.   Congratulations, Patsy!

The Program
Carolyn Worsham emceed the program; Cynthia Stueber spoke of the fun times she and Patsy have enjoyed; and Patsy shared her journey and thanked all of her partners for their patience.
Don and Juinez poked fun at the lack of gold points Patsy and Cynthia earned at the 2018 Fall NABC in Honolulu, HI (see lyrics below), and Carolyn presented Patsy with a trophy recognizing her accomplishment.
