The Longest Day - Benefitting the Alzheimer's Association

For the seventh year, the Beaumont Bridge Studio exceeded all expectations! This year our team was joined by both the Orange Community Bridge League and the Rayburn Country Duplicate Bridge Club. In Beaumont, a total of 19 tables played. This was a "scale-down" year. Members responded by donating participating in games, enjoying lunch, and making donations. Thanks especially to Tipton Golias (who underwrote our pizza lunch), Dr. Bharathi (who provided a scrumptious cake), Ed Rasmussen (who donated all director fees), Shanna Briggs (who reminded us that Alzheimer's can strike at an early age as it did to her mom), Linda Briggs (who found partners for all who needed one), the Orange Community Bridge League and Rayburn Country Duplicate Bridge Club (who joined our team this year) and to all others who participated in any way.
	The early total to the Alzheimer's Association including game receipts exceeded $8,500. Job well done, Unit 201!!!!
